TERMS &
CONDITIONS

Effective Date: September 2026

Welcome to OPORA. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the OPORA website and any purchases made through it. By accessing our website, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. General

This website is owned and operated by OPORA (“OPORA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

The website and its contents are provided for personal, non-commercial use. By using this website, you agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, or use its content for unlawful purposes.

You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Products & Natural Materials

OPORA pieces are designed and assembled in small quantities using natural stones, pearls, ceramics, vintage components, and other materials.

Because many of our materials are natural or individually sourced, variations in color, markings, inclusions, texture, surface, size, and form are expected. These characteristics are inherent to the materials and are not considered defects.

We make every effort to describe and represent our pieces accurately. However, colors and proportions may appear differently depending on photography, lighting, screen settings, and natural material variation.

Product dimensions and measurements are approximate unless otherwise stated.

3. Product Imagery

Certain pieces offered during pre-order or prior to final production may be displayed using digital renderings, composites, mockups, or other preview imagery.

Where applicable, this will be disclosed on the relevant product page. Such imagery is intended to represent the overall design and appearance of the finished piece and should not be interpreted as an exact photograph of the final physical product.

Finished pieces may vary slightly in proportion, positioning, color, markings, texture, and other details, particularly where natural or individually sourced materials are used.

4. Pre-Orders & Made-to-Order Pieces

Certain OPORA pieces may be offered for pre-order or made to order.

Estimated production and shipping timelines will be provided on the relevant product page. These timelines are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates and may occasionally change due to material availability, production requirements, or circumstances outside our control.

By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge that the piece may not yet be ready for immediate shipment.

For made-to-order pieces, production begins following your order. Natural variation means your finished piece may differ subtly from the piece or imagery displayed online.

If a significant production delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you using the contact information associated with your order.

5. Availability

OPORA works in small quantities, and availability may be limited.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue pieces, modify products, cancel or decline orders, or correct errors in product information or availability.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfill an order after payment has been received, we will cancel the affected item and issue a refund to the original payment method.

6. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise indicated.

Applicable sales taxes will be calculated at checkout where required. Shipping charges, duties, taxes, and other applicable fees may be charged separately.

Payments are processed through authorized third-party payment providers. OPORA is not responsible for additional fees imposed by your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or currency conversion service.

We reserve the right to correct pricing or product-information errors. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you before proceeding where appropriate.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout. Please review your shipping information carefully before submitting your order.

Estimated delivery times do not include production time for pre-order or made-to-order pieces unless expressly stated otherwise.

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery may be affected by carrier delays, customs processing, weather, strikes, or other circumstances outside OPORA's reasonable control.

For international orders, the recipient is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, or other fees imposed by the destination country unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional shipping costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address may be the customer's responsibility.

8. Returns, Exchanges & Order Cancellations

Because OPORA pieces are produced and assembled in small quantities, our return and exchange policy is subject to the conditions described on our Returns & Exchanges Policy page.

[Insert your actual policy here—for example: “Made-to-order and pre-order pieces are final sale once production has begun.”]

If your order arrives damaged or you believe you have received an incorrect or defective item, please contact us at hello@oporaatelier.com within 7 days of delivery and include your order number and clear photographs of the item and packaging.

Normal variation in natural stones, pearls, ceramics, vintage materials, or other individually sourced components is not considered a defect.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

9. Jewelry Care & Wear

OPORA jewelry should be handled with care.

Natural stones, pearls, ceramics, plated surfaces, cords, and other materials may be affected by impact, moisture, chemicals, perfume, cosmetics, prolonged sunlight, or improper storage.

Normal wear, tarnishing, surface changes, accidental damage, or damage resulting from improper care or use are not considered manufacturing defects.

Any specific care instructions provided with a piece or on our website should be followed to preserve its condition.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, OPORA's original jewelry designs, product photography, original imagery, graphics, branding, logos, written copy, website design elements, and other original content are owned by or licensed to OPORA and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from OPORA-owned content without prior written permission.

Certain editorial, archival, artistic, or third-party materials displayed on our website or social channels may remain the property of their respective rights holders.

11. Privacy

We collect and process personal information in connection with orders, customer service, website operation, marketing where permitted, and other legitimate business purposes.

Please review our Privacy Policy for additional information regarding how personal information is collected, used, stored, and protected.

12. Third-Party Services

Our website may rely on third-party services for functions such as payment processing, website hosting, analytics, shipping, and other services.

Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. OPORA is not responsible for the independent practices of third-party providers except as required by applicable law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OPORA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of our website, services, or products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes to our business, website, policies, or applicable requirements.

The version published on this page will include its effective date. Updated Terms become effective when posted unless otherwise stated.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection laws require otherwise.
